My thread, My pictures

Although I have some other pictures posted on another thread of mine, I think I never had one in this section. Well, I start my thread with those three. The 1st one's from my brother's birthday on Saturday, the 2nd and 3rd were made on my way home to Romania. Those are the Carpatian Mountains.

The steak photo makes me hungry. The other two are interesting, but are a little too simple maybe.

Lao, it would be better to post your shots individually. That way you will get specific feedback on them, rather than posting pictures that have no related theme. The Viewfinder is OK for posting multiple shots though.

I will post single photos from now on. I was thinking about that even before I posted these, but they are not the best photos so that's why I did it like this. ;)

Long time no see, ah? It's been a while since I last posted pictures here.

Here's one from today when we celebrated the re-birth of Jesus. Don't know how you guys call it in english. In Romania we call it "Paște".

I am very very impressed with these 18-55 IS lenses that I bought in february from Adorama:



No modification in PhotoShop, just a minor resize.

Another suggestion for posting Lao: this site will host photos for you, just resize the photo to 800 pixels on the long side and pick a format(.jpg etc.)that will keep it under 293kb. It's much easier to view the photo when it's embedded in the post than having to follow a link. I know I am often too lazy to follow a link.

Lao, glad to see you posting here and finding yourself around this great website.
This forum is the "Photo Critique" forum. Here is where you would post one image with the intent of having the other members offer you critique, feedback and possible suggestions for improving.
As suggested, you could resize your images to as long as 800 pixels on the longest end and less than 290 kb in file size.
Have a look at the Critique forum guide lines at the top of the page.

Ok, got it. I'll do it next time. It's easier for me to upload a picture on Imageshack because I'm using it on other forums as well. ;)

Next time I will try and resize the pictures to 800, upload them on Imageshack and post picture directly to the forum, like the one below. Is this ok?
