    My oldest daughter

    Introducing my oldest daughter Sam.
I finally managed to get some pictures of her yesterday. I'm pretty pleased with the results.
I'd love to know what people on the outside looking in think. (Good or bad).
    TIA

    Re: My oldest daughter

    Hi Alison,

Those are some attractive images you have there. And it's nice that there are no misc. reflections in the glasses (hard to do sometimes). Nice choice backgrount too. I also like the tilt of the 2nd shot. However, the thing that bothers me about the 2nd shot is the hot spot on her forehead. I bet you can tone that down in PP.

    Cheers,
    Tim

Yeah that has bothered me a little too.
This was one of the last shots I did so I rushed it a little. She was absolutely freezing but I told her to act like she wasn't lol.
I'll see if I can fix that hot spot.
I hadn't even thought about the reflections in the glasses to be honest. I will be watching for that in future. Thanks for that.
Thank you for your kind comments.

    Re: My oldest daughter

It's only a slight adjustment but do you think this is any better?

You know, I am actually the last person who should be evaluating hot-spots and all -- working here off a laptop with an LCD screen. So, discount what I say about exposure. I may have it wrong.

I will say that the shoulder now looks hotter in your 2nd version. What did you do?

    Cheers,

I used the burn tool on her forehead and nose.
Didn't even touch the shirt but will probably have a go at that tomorrow. Time for bed in the UK

I used the burn tool again on her shoulder and collar. If I hadn't see the original I probably wouldn't have known any different. I'm not too sure about it, I think I have been looking at it for too long now, what do you think?
