    My niece

I took these pictures last night at my brothers place for Christmas. She is in a "Cinderella" phase Never takes the dress off.

They were shot with my 50mm 1.8 at various shutter speeds. Canon Xsi. Only edits were a little unsharp mask on both, and a curve adjustment on the first one to make it a little darker. I really wish there was a different background in the first picture, but oh well..

    Thanks for any feedback

Hi Josh, Good candid work,I like her expression...it's priceless.
The first one can benifit from a crop of the right side (near the hand on the wall)

The second can use a small crop of the left.
Look forward to more of the Bay Area's best. :O)

I really like the first one, but agree w/ Rick that a rightside crop would do wonders. I might even consider cropping left too and just bringing the whole thing tight to her shoulders.

I have to ask, is that a llama in the background on the left or what?

No it's the damn dog Alaskan Huskie or something or another.

Anyone has my permission to blur the background even more so it becomes more appealing! I'd do it if I knew how too

I really like the first picture, great expression and innocence but it reallydoes look like a Llama. I can't stop laughing because I thought the same thing when I saw the picture. It is good laughter though .

I really was amused with the idea that your brother had a Llama in his house.
