    My great-niece

Wow! I knew exactly what I was doing here but I still can't believe I took this shot today!
All this practise is paying off!!!
Just wanted to share this with everybody here.
I'm well happy! It's great to say "I know what I am doing"!

Shot in RAW, Window behind me to my left, Bounced flash off the ceiling, Manual mode, f/2.8, SS 1/100, ISO 100, 50mm 1.8 lens

Alison......a very nice capture, but I'm distracted by that thin dark line coming off the right corner of the baby's mouth. Looks like some kind of artifact or a strand of hair or something.

    Alison,

Great shot, the best one I've seen from you in a while.

    Flawless...well done.

I agree, the spot by the baby's mouth is distracting... though nothing that can't be fixed. The lighting is good and so is her expression, nice job.

That is one cute baby. Great shot, too. I love that smile/smirk on her face and that little dimple on her chin. Classic.
