    My friend's Mini Cooper S

This is one of my first time trying to seriously take pictures of cars. I tried to pretend i was a car photographer from like a magazine. I noticed some possible flaws already....

I should of told him to roll up his window. Also, I feel like i should of gone in front of him too rather on his side. I don't like the reflection on his side door.

I did all retouching in lightroom. Let me know how i could of improved them.

    Thanks.

I like these pictures, they all have nice compositions and light. I especially like how in the bottom two the car really matches the skys color, is there any way you could make the sky bluer in the top photograph?

Also, I don't really mind the window being down on the top one, it gives it a nice sense of clarity. I would be curious as to how it would look from the front though. How did you take the top picture exactly? Were you in a moving car next to him or did he just drive by you?

Anyway, nice set, I'd say the bottom one is a winner. Maybe just make the lower front left of the car(the wheel area) a tad bit lighter? Then it would surely be fit for a magazine.

Thanks for the look f-15 flyer. I was worried that the post wouldn't get any attention. For the rolling shot, we were on the freeway driving back from some garage because he just had his new wheels mounted so i have his older wheels in the back of my SUV. So i just drove by the side of him, set it to shutter priority mode to match our speed, which was like 80mph to 1/80 (i know it wasn't the smartest thing to do while driving:mad2: )...used a flash, you can see the glare on his rear wheel. I think i should use a polarizer filter next time and also have someone else driving so i can get the front look. Thanks agian.

You need to take a close look at car photos. In your case, exposure, lighting and colour are off by quite a bit. The bottom of the car and even the side in some shots is buried in darkness and lack of detail. Background is less than ideal as well.
