    My first macro attempt...

    How do get the little guys to hold still? :-)

    Trying a Sony A350 and using a 35-70 f/4 in macro (manual focus only) mode.
    70mm

    0.4 sec

    I like the composition with the red branches set against the nicely blurred ferns and especially that you have nothing leading off frame.
    Its just too soft.
    I think the nature photographers and especially the bug guys stick pins in bugs and then arrange them in poses.
    Now I will wait to hear the "I do nots"

    the compositionn and colors are absolutely great. however you probbably should have used a bit faster shutter, it is very soft.
