    My first batch of photos

These are some of my first photos, using color film no less, for my school assignment. They are the few that really surprised me and I would really like to expand on them. My main artistic approach to the assignment is abstract photography.

Please, please, please critique, give suggestions, edit and crop it, do whatever and say whatever to help me to improve for the next and final film for my photography assignment

BTW, these were taken just to express ideas. Sorry if they're a little big.

I like number 2 a lot, I'd take the shot about an inch and a half higher though (from the image you've provided) so you see less of the road and more of the wall.

Good work so far I'd say
I am mainly here to learn, I'm pretty new at photography so please don't be afraid to say whatever you need to if you're critiquing my photos, and take my composition advice with an extra grain of salt

I'd have to agee with desertdog about the second shot, but I know you are focusingon the abstract side for the others. Abstract is not really my best field, but when I look at abstract I want to see expressions or emotions in the photos. All though the coloring is beautiful, I find it is too much noise to represent an emotion. When I see so much movement and color I see anger. I'm not a professional at abstract though, maybe just think of these as an opinion rather than a real critique.
