    My Favorite Watersport: Track Day!

    Watersport?
I understand placing the car to the right would have been ideal, but you don't "place" a car in the frame at 140mph, and I liked the spray off the back.

    Bill's Datsun

This is a lot harder to shoot than autocross, due the high speeds, sparsely populated track, and sideways rain. On the bright side, the water spray off the cars gives a dramatic effect. This is one of the drivers that showed interest in purchasing some prints.

When you're shooting spray, yes, you put the car on the left so that you get the spray in as the subject, the car becomes secondary.

I haven't tried cropping this way actually, must have a go with some wet F1 images, but if the spray is really good just crop to the rear wheels and make the spray the subject.

I'm thinking you could go with a much tighter crop on the car and spray.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I'm assuming you're speaking of #2

However, as it is, I wager it's only suitable up to 5"x7" print. Or a 4x6 with the crop

Nice work Mr. Yuck. Both very good. Seeing the driver and the wipers mid-way on the windshield works well. One of my favorite cars as well.
I am like Barney Fife, I have a gun but Andy makes me keep the bullet in my pocket..
