    I like all three.
The second has blown out parts but I don't think they hurt.
    I like your eye.

Re: My favorite pieces of work

Welcome WYB. I also like trains and train tracks. Try them in black and white too. The first one's vanishing point is nice, but I would watch how the side of the box car tilts to the left. You can fix that in post processing by rotating the image (make sure you set anti-aliasing to on). The 2nd's my favorite, seems like it has a nice mood. It would be better if the sunlit wall wasn't so bright, but it's OK. The tracks are fun and I like the stance of the fellow walking away.

Re: My favorite pieces of work

The first one has some blown out parts in the sky and if you had steped up on the empty tracks and shot a little more down the tracks I think it would have helped the composition.
The second one is my favorite and you handled the lighting fine. These type shots can be a nightmare. I think you should crop it someway and get the window out of the center, remember the rule of thirds.
I think the lighting is way to harsh and contrasty on the last one but I love the composition.
I agree you have a keen eye and I look forward to more shots. Hang out here awhile and you will learn much.

thank you everyone I know the 2nd one breaks the rules, but I feel that for that photo it was okay to break the rules, the floor tiles and everything lead up to the window and it makes it pop, it is probablly my favorite picture I have taken so far.

flickr.com/kileighelaine has more photos, if anyone would like to see a more vast span of my work instead of just this dark style I have in those 3 photos. I would love more criticism

Re: My favorite pieces of work

the third one is my favorite

the first one need some work onthe exposure

the second is well captured, I would have tried a different composition - off center - as is it is now, it does not catch my interest, I think from your flickr account the one called Eerie feeling would have better success in here

Re: My favorite pieces of work

You have two shots of the room and window in your flikr account.
I prefer the one you posted here. It is actually less centered than the other and even though it is close to center, I like it that way and would not crop it.

I went through your flikr, all seven pages. Don't usually look at so many of someones flikr so take that as a compliment.
Your self portraits are unique? Your friends are right; you do look like a porcelain doll but I think that is mostly due to post processing. I notice that your are frequently looking out of the frame instead of into it. This is also sort of a rule breaker but I think you've made it work.
One thing I noticed is that you tend to cut people off in places that I think would make stronger photos if you had given them a little more room. I especially noticed it with feet.
Good stuff. You have a mature eye.
    Keep Shooting!
