One of my as it happened shots.. snuck in around the corner and shot. Flash was used.

Post correction - Red Eye removed, added a touch of Saturation to bring the colors back to natural.

I might try it B&W so your eye doesn't go straight to the background

whats an easy way to make a B&W conversion with PS? I have never done that before so I may as well start off the right way.

Do you have CS2? That is what I have and I can tell you how to do it in that.LOL
Go to image and then scroll down to the adjustments.from there you go down to the gradient map.click it then click OK and it will turn it B&W. Then you can go to image>adjustments>brightness/contrast to change the lighting in it. You can also do sepia the same way but take it step futher.After you turn it B&W go to image>adjustments> Hues/saturation. then click on the little box that says colorize.then you slide the markers to where you want them.I use 40 on the top one and anywhere from 11 to 14 on the bottom.Depending on the picture.

Ok I followed those instructions quite easily. I have CS2 also. Here's a quick render of it as a b&w. I cropped it in a bit tighter as well to eliminate some of the business of thebackdrop and then made the conversion. I added 40 to the top slider but only 7 to the bottom and then adjusted the bright/contrast a wee bit .... here's teh result.

I think that looks better,but maybe a bit to yellow.
Glad you were able to follow the instructions.I'm not real good at giving them.LOL
