And for my 1000th post.. A Poll! Which is the best photograph of this road gap?

The follwing three photographs are from last weekend in Cainville, of the same road gap.
I am having trouble deciding which is the best of the three.
So for my 1000th post here, I thought I'd have a little poll and let you my PR.com friends decide.
    Which is the best?
    Thanks!

Let me be the first to congratulate you on the big 1000!

I voted for #2 - the subject separates from the background really well because of the color and the placement against the background. Yeah, it's centered, but I think it works here.

I like the placement of the jumper in #1 but would prefer him to be alone. So I guess my vote is for #3.

#2 is my favorite because I like the fact that he:

a: appears to be by himself

b: is wearing a red shirt which instantly makes him stand out against the background.

    That's my vote.

All are good, Brian. This was a tough one. I'm voting for 3 because i like the tones of the dunes and the textures are more defined, and I like the lone rider and his placement.

I voted for number 3 for the same reason Tuna did. I like the red shirt in #2 but the ridge line for the dune directly behind the bike, lines up with the top tube of the bike frame and makes it kinda hard to seperate them.

I am going to go with 3. I like the colors, plus to me it feels like it is the only one that it is obvious that it is a road gap jump...

Crop em, and submit to francois for mtbr.com banner fodder

    Hi Brian,

I think all are good. I voted for #1 because I think it has great potential for a mtbr.com banner.
    Cheers,

I'll keep that in mind the next time, Francois posts a thread looking for new ones.
I have one in the current batch, the one with the rider coming off the rock drop off.

I gotta go with #3...I like the background the best and it appears he is getting more air than the rest...therefore the true winner

No. 3 for the same reasons given by other No 3 voters.

    Hello Brian,

Congrats for the big 1000! This is major!

As for your question, they do all rock but I think that I would rank number 1 first for the simple reason that there is no sky in it. What I am saying here is that there is so little sky in #2 and #3 that it almost act as a distraction. #1 is cleaner for that matter. That being said they are all truly excellent in their own way. The motion is well captured in all of them and I enjoy the rock textures.

    regards

    Seb

    Brian,
I like all three also! But would have to vote for #3.
I would like to see it cropped......losing the upper left corner of the sky, and then center the rider.
I think these guys would love to have a poster.

    Congrats on post #1000
