    Mustard field

Would appreciate any thoughts on this, was a very bright day and I used a polarizing filter to bring out the high cirrus clouds, could this have effected the IQ of the mustard crop ? Does it need some other element somewhere to make interesting ?

I think it is fine. Maybe level it slightly. I think the power poles actually help this one.

This is quite good as it is. Your elements are well placed within the frame - power lines leading to the far barn, and the tree on the right counter each other nicely. The mustard is far enough below center, and a good choice on the polarization of the sky.

    Re: Mustard field

Looks good to me. The mustard is a very rich yellow.
    It is slightly tilted left.
A house in the far right corner or something would be nice but if it isn't there, it isn't there.

    Re: Mustard field

The wonderful color contrast of the bright yellow mustard crop and the blue sky which your polarizer helped is a treat. I think the power line poles are giving some added dimension here too.
i would have included more crop and less sky though in keeping the horizon more off center. Did you try any other compositions with this subject? I am feeling that you are trying to include too much here, and perhaps isolating a specific area of the field with one strong element in the distance or foreground would work a bit better.
Still, a very nice visual treat here.
