    Music Of The Night

I went to opening night of Concerts On The Green in downtown El Cajon. The Sue Palmer Band performed. Here are two shots from the evening.

    CF,

Thanks for offering the comments. The setting are for image one: 1/125 @ 5.6 ISO 200. Second image 1/100 @ 5.6 ISO 200.

    Re: Music Of The Night

Great shots CF .. one of the things I am eternally trying to "teach" the people I advise is not to be afraid to get in close to things. Most beginners would have shot the whole musician (together with all the background clutter) and would never have even thought of going in for the detail and essence of the shot.

    Cheers

CF.....we've got a 'Concert In The Park' series starting in a couple of weeks here. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm going to try some shots like you did. I hope I do as well. Mike is right--sometimes we (myself especially) are afraid to "get in there". Well done.

Lovely shots CF well done, I especially like the cello photo, brings out the essence of the instrument.

    Mike/John/Roger:

Thanks very much for the kind words and encouragement, I greatly appreciate it. I had a good time taking these photos. The show is large enough to get caught up in the moment but still able to get right up next to the musicians. A great time was had by all.

    Thanks again.
