Murder Weapon

I have been out of school for 4 days now (Hanuka vacation), and I
've been home with my home made light box and a flash, so obviously, I did what any sensible 16 year old would do - I made fake blood .
actually what made me want to make it, was looking at some of Dave Nitsche's photography again, and it reminded me, so I made it.



Please critique and comment! and if you have any other concepts with fake blood I'd love to hear them! I NEED inspiration!

Imaginative shot. The blood looks real (to me, anyway). How did you concoct this particular blend?

There are apparently loads of simple methods for making convincing Hollywood blood. I'm currently researching some of those for a project of my own (as I'd rather not have to use real blood).

I wish I could see more of the murder weapon, I don't know what it is. Blood looks pretty cool though, very real!

Dray - This was one part water to three parts corn syrup, adding food coloring and chocolate syrup to taste ( chocolate syrup makes it a much truer color by adding brown and makes it thicker)
Gracie - It's a stake (or Shipud as we call it here in Israel) it holds meat and vegetables on a stick when you BBQ them. and this is post crop and i decided to leave out the rest because it was more of the same - just a continuation of the stick.
