    Talking Mtn Biking Pictures!!

Here are two of my favorite shots I've taken at some Mountain Biking races. The First one is from the Nationals at Mammoth Lakes, CA, and the second one is from the Stanford Races in San Jose. Any comments would be appreciated Thanks!

Nice pics. For the second one, it might be better if the closest guy is in focus, not the guy in the middle. However, this is only my personal taste.

    Welcome to PR.com!
It is always great to see mounatin bike stuff!
The crash one is your better image, it is better composed and shows some good action,
The second one though shows too little information, i.e. the bike.
I look forward to seeing more from you be it bike stuff or anything else, not that there is anything better to shoot than mountain biking.
Make sure you take a look at the other forums and take advantage of all the useful information there is here. Your camera will thank you for it!
    Good Luck!

    Re: Mtn Biking Pictures!!

Thanks! I actually have a shot with the guy falling as he was going over the side. He stopped sliding about 5-6 feet in front of me, since I was lying down at the bottom of the hill. I have already learned tons off this site, especially with flash usage and different lighting techniques. I love taking sports shots, and I do product photography at work (www.Doggonegood.com). But I am looking forward to learning much more. I am actually gonna head up to a temple for my church up in Oakland to take some night shots tonite
