    Mt. Shuksan reflections

I took these two weeks ago. What do you think of the shots (these are common shots, really. You see similar ones everywhere since this is a very easy location to get to.) However, I didnt go for the open water as everyone else does. Which do you like more?

The highlights look a little blown to my eyes with my monitor. I would like to see this taken at a different time of day. I've been up there and hiked from Shuksan to Anne lake and spent the night out there. The Mt Baker wilderness is beautiful.

Beautiful scenery! The first shot would be my favorite of the 2. In the second shot there seems to be a bit of competition for the spotlight between the tree in the center and the mountain in the background. I also agree with EOS that there is a bit of blowout in the highlights. Maybe a grad filter could help with this? Beautiful shots. I wish I had a spot like that that was "easy to get to"

Now that you mention it, I do see what you mean. Of course I would love to try this shot at sunrise sometime.

Lake Ann is a great hike. Sometime I need to get back out there and stay the night.
