    MT bike critique

I've been looking at this shot for some time now. I got it last summer shooting the race for the Summit Daily. The girl's company bought 2 8x10's and she bough one that was larger than that, i think.
I personaly like the shot, but i wanted to get some more opinions on it.
Is there anything I need to do better for next year, is it just perfect the way it is, or just kind of ordinary (nothing bad nothing great).

I don't like the angle of the shot but I can still like it. Good capture.

    How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?

Excellent in your face sports shot. Your angle is terrific and captures the determination and control of the rider brilliantly. Great to have the other riders in the nicely subdued background.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

I'm not an action photographer but if I was I'd be very pleased with this one. I see why she bought a print.
You may want to try a vertical format when the opportunity arises.

I like it. I like how you captured it when she was in the air, and I like seeing the face of her and the other bikers.

at first, it was a virtical shot, i cropped it like this because there was WAY too much dead space at the top
