    Mount Maroma

This is my first forage into the world of photo critique, so try not to be too hard on me!! No seriously, I can take it. I took this shot by the side of Lake Viñuela, here in southern Spain, using my then DSLR. a Nikon D60 with the standard kit 18-55mm VR leans, mounted on a tripod. I like the photo but am wondering if I could have done better? Post processing was kept to a minimum as I am no expert in that direction.

I was simply trying to shoot a shot to appeal to tourists, so it is a general shot of the area. Thanks for responding.

It looks like a beautiful place (i would like to know where it is since im going to Andalusia coming vacation ).

The thing is, for me, when i look at this image is i see three cut off subjects. The lake is only visible for a small portion. The mountain is cut off on the left and the cloud is cut off on the right.

Id like to see more of one of those to say wow, thats a beautiful (enter subject here) in a beautiful environment.

Keep in mind im not very experienced myself, so others might disagree

Thank you for your comments, taken in the right way. I see what you mean. It is a beautiful place. I live near to the lake, which is in Viñuela in the Axarquia region. have a look on Google maps, I am sure you will be impressed, then you can take your own shots of it....
