    Moths

    I shot this in the back yard this morning.

    I would suggest trying to get closer to your subjects and waiting for a better light. Also, your WB is making things on the yellow side here. It appears you had the setting on AWB, and perhaps setting it to "sunny" would have yielded better results outside in the sun like this.
    Some scenes, such as this need to be shot when the lighting is softer and less harsh so that the colors and details can be seen.
