good capture...i really like the subjects you managed to get a younger and on older couple in the shot, very cool. the sprinklers in the background are nice added touch.

A nice contrast of young and old. The tones are very nice, a tad busy with the trees, but it works.

    Nice work,

Great framing, very contrasty, but it works. I too really like the young couple and older couple sitting on their benches. . .the contrast in generations goes with the contrasty tones. Very good.

I really like the concept here .. I suggest a crop to get rid of the sky (which I found a little distracting). What do you think?

Thanks for the replies and critique.

Mike, I like the crop. Though the bright areas at top didn't bother me as much, it seems to tighten up the composition a little.

Another very nice shot. I like the crop version because I think it emphasizes the arch the benches are on and enhances the flow of lines though the image and draws a parallel with the water arch in the background. Very good comp and subject matter.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Tuna,

I think you did a great job of spotting this theme and then capturing it. I think the idea of a tighter crop may be worth a try because it brings more focus to the contrast in subjects. But, I also think your original is very strong and can stand on its own.

Again, that is nice -- works on many levels.
    Much respect,
    Tim
