    Re: Nature's Peace

PlantedTao, I like the exposure here and your contrasts and tones are great. I find this to have appeal for me for those reasons and for the subject. MNy nit pik here is I feel like the crop is too tight around the subject and feel as though a horizontal frame up would have worked a little better here. The horizontal frame would have still given us the mountain and sky but also more of the scene to the left and allow room for the subject to sit comfortable. That is just my opinion, but as it is I find it quite nice. Good Shot.

    Thanks Gary.
I really like this picture because of the exposure. I thought the composition was good, but looking back at this picture I see what you mean ( I still like it tho ). So, here is the version you requested, but you see my problem with this shoot and the exposure is no where close to being as good as the first.

Thats the exact comp I was thinking of, great! The glare is the problem. But, The rest of the image I was able to bring out nicely by applying a color burn layer of the image at about 35 % Gave it a good exposure feel and richer tones. The glare can be cloned out if you take the time and do it right. This is salvageable and a GREAT composition I like it alot.

Great shooting. Definately love the second crop, minus the glare. Love the boldness of the tones in the first shot though.

    Lovely shots!
