I would say the third one is the best, but it could be improved by getting *a bit* less water / zooming in on the cyclists a bit more. Also I would clone out two of the three people standing by the water and just get the one on-looker (were you to reshoot zoomed in). The shot might be a tad out of focus / need a stop faster shutter speed, but it's hard to tell.

There is also something about the second image I like, but it's less about the cyclists than it is the scene. They almost look like ants marching across a landscape or something... kind of neat.

The first one is too busy IMO and also a bit out of focus.

    Second One...

The second one is by far your best image..
It has a Graham Watson feel to it. If you do not know who he is, he is in my opinion the greatest road cycling photographer there ever was.
Like the other poster said, is it almost not about the racers, but you can see them on the road and in the reflection on the water, which creates a few good composiotional qualities, line and repitition to name two.
    Good Stuff!

    Thanks for the input.

On the second photo, do you think that cropping some of the water and making it more of a panaramic shot would make it better?

    Thanks

I also like the second one the best. I like the reflection. Good eye. The first one seems a little out of focus, and the last one just doesent seem to have the same impact as the middle one. I like the middle one a lot.

    Shane,
I am not sure that cropping would make it any better. Try it, show us!
It is very good as is.
