    Re: More streetphotography!

I would pick number one, but there's some hot spots in there that distract me (especially on the left hand side) and because of that, I pick number two as the strongest.

I agree. The reflections on the glass are a bit too distracting for my taste. The second shot feels more spontaneous and candid, hence my pick of the two.

Jared - after looking at the print compared to the posted, the print is not as "hot" and has some more details in other ares that did not show on the scan.

I like the first picture because the guy has a piece of plexiglas over his face, from the sign, preventing him from hearing a word the other guy is saying. The guy handing out the flyers didn't seem to notice.

JMK - I agree, this second is much more candid and has better feel. I hope to got more candid shots like this in my street photos...

    Thanks for the comments, Cheers.

    Hi Pt,
The 2 shots do not work for me. I try to figure out what the meaning of each shot is but I fail. They seem to be shot without any purpose. I hope you dont mind.

Tao, I would agree with Yoyo here in that neither one of these brings me any meaning or feeling of a reason for the scene to be taken in the first place. I like the aesthetic and tones of both but I'm just not getting anything more from these. I do find the first to be more interesting of the two if i were to choose.

Can't put my finger on it but I like the first photo best. The policeman sort of looking over the shoulder of the other guy, always on the watch for what is going on. And the guy with his back to the camera...I think this is a great photo. Something about the second it a little too busy for me, but that is me.
