    more snowy graves

Some may remember some of the snowy grave shots I posted early in the year. I've been going through them and finding possibilities I hadn't seen before.
What do you think of this one? Some de-saturation and cropped at bottom.

    Re: more snowy graves

I think it needs a little fog or mist to separate the gravestones from the background. As it is the stones don't pop out of the image-although if that is what you were trying for then you did good.

I'm thinking that maybe what you should have done is to move a bit closer to the stones and let your DoF open up the scene.

    Gonna go back this winter?

The place might look good in the fall too......
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: more snowy graves

Fall's on my agenda and I'll be watching for snow in the winter.
Thanks Mb for your observations. I think that now I have a wide angle lens I'll find better compositions up there.

    Re: more snowy graves

Hi Frog.....How about the leaner on the left. come in close with a verticle, Dof to blur the flanking stones......mebbie a touch of sun to bring out some detail in the snow.
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.
Nothing goes right in its time.
