More of the Flowers

There so close I can almost smell them. Really nice colors in them as they are bright and sharp. Were you using a macro lens and what kind of lighting did you use? Natural or a little flash? Overall very nice

I have to admit I'm not sure on the lens. I use a Cannon Powershot A620 camera and I just zoom in and focus what I want...I'm really just kind of winging it and use intuition. I'm learning. As far as lighting...the first two are natural light and the third is a night photo with a flash. Thanks for the comment. I really do appreciate it. These boards are teaching me a lot.

Good job on the flowers! I'm not sure what type of flower that is in the first 2 shots but it made me think of watermelon. I like the top 2 the best, but my only qripe is that they look oversaturated. The only sugguestion I could give is to check the white balance on your camera setting to make sure it corresponds with the environment.
