    More Doorman

I've been trying some different crops and colors for the portrait shot of the hotel doorman. I'd like to know which one is a keeper and is any one particular effect better? Thanks S

I think #2 works best here.

    Re: More Doorman

#2. The first is too soft and the crop is too close up to the chin. The third is too tightly cropped from top to bottom and the motion blur does not really work for me. The last one is pretty good, but not quite as effective as the second shot and treatment.

Thanks Gary, thanks Greg, seems #2 is it, when my son saw them he went for #2 without hesitation as well, though I still like #4 for the angle.

I like 2 & 4. Have you tried the skin smoothing effect used in # 2 on # 4? It may benefit.

    Re: More Doorman

I like the bottom one the best. The contrast is a bit high on all of them though, except perhaps the third one from the top..

    PS - try sharpening them
