    More Butterflies

Second attempt at the Smithsonian Butterfly Pavilion. These are a bit better, but I still have more work to do to get the images I want. Comments appreciated.

The two stalks across the center of the first shot kill it in much the same manner the cage bars killed my panther shots. Second shot is my favorite - great composition, and the third is good too for the color and DOF.

The second shot is my favorite,too-hard to take with contrasty subjects like that amazing dark butterfly against the lighter plant.

The 2nd and 3rd are the most promising, the first being too obscured. I might adjust them in PP a bit though, as the 2nd is a bit dark and w/o detail whereas the third blends into the background a little too much. Call them 6/10s. But spring is coming, so I think you will have more opportunities..
