    Moosehead Lake, Maine

Well, the point was to get some great pics of Moose, but they all came out out of focus (see Help Forum).... but I did like some of the landscape stuff. I'd love feedback... I did isolate the sky and remove the highlights with PS.

Something is definitely missing here - decent supporting characters, but no main character I like the mtns in the background. Needs a boat or two on the water, and something else in the foreground. Pretty day.

I agree with GB - nothing seems whole. There are parts of every main component that is chopped off (canoes, dock, that metal-looking thing). I can imagine how beautiful the day must have been; but I think a more simple (whole) foreground subject would have been more appropriate here.

Sorry to sound so sour, ltilley. But I applaud your efforts. Keep shooting!

Hey, just noticed that we all three are engineers. Must be an engineering thread

ahhh, three engineers Thanks for the feedback. You don't sound sour... exactly the feedback I'm looking for. Didn't even notice I had clipped the pier off. The canoes I clipped off because there was a car in front of them.

This is good, I'll look out for these things next time. Thanks!
