    Moon over Miami

Taken on the way home from work tonight and given a bit of an artistic PP treatment. (since we have so many skyline shots right now, I figured one more wouldn't hurt :lol

    Re: Moon over Miami

    Just WOW!
The water, the light colored bridge, the somewhat overexposed city, and then the normal sized moon with the cloud edge are all so disparate and yet work together so well.
A teeny nit is I wish there was just a little more space between moon and bridge.
    Keep Shooting!

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Thanks everyone! Wasn't sure about the color cast on the bridge, but I kinda liked the yellow/purple combination. Glad to see nobody else seems bothered by it either

Here's the shot without the "Sci-Fi" effect:

They are both really good but I actually like the second one better without the sci-fi effect. It is just absolutely a fantastic shot.

    Jet,

I enjoy night photography most of all, and this is terrific. I prefer the second image with the building toned down a bit. Colors are perfect, inclusion of the moon is a really nice touch. Well done!

Jet, I like the 2nd one more. I think the first was a tad over done. It's still a tad too sharp and has some artifacts because of hte over sharpness. but the composition, colours are all nice!

The second one is great too and thankfully it still has the Sci-Fi look.
