    Moon Over Half Bean

Probably the most photographed object in Chicago, so I took my turn yesterday.

I like your interpretation. It looks like a city in a bubble. Good abstract feel. My only wish, that you had given the reflection more predominance in the photo, perhaps a panoramic style crop to remove the dead space in the sky. I really like the intent though. I give a big thumbs up for getting the moon in the shot for balance. A creative interpretation. Nicely done.

Seems too dark to me, but I do agree with the crop.

Cropped Version: Moon Over Half Bean

Thaks for the input. Cropped version as suggested. This is a sculpture in Millenium Park in Chicago know as the Bean.

Take out the balustrade on the left, and it's a cover shot for Blish's "Cities in Flight".

I like the crop. This is a fine image. It does look like a city in a bubble as Cindy stated.

    Re: Moon Over Half Bean

I think I liked the first one better. I have seen several pictures of this come through the forums here in the past. This one is certainly unique. I like it.
You might think about moving the moon up and over slightly, I almost missed it.

Interesting with a surreal feel, might need more punch in my opinion, but still works well.
