    Moon

This was taken by me awhile ago, i dont know how much you can say about it because i know its not the best shot, its actually funny how i got it, it was one of the eclipses and all i had was my vivitar 3725, i actually put up, holding next to the lens of the camera, my field binoculars. It took some work to get it all to line up but i thought it looked kind of cool

so of course it is blurry and wierd, lol, its shot through binoculars!

i was actually surprised how close i zoomed in, on one of the pictures (i lost it ) you could see some stars around the moon

    The colors are cool...

BTW: On Sep. 28 we should have the Harvest Moon due East. The colors will probably be similar. And since the moon will be close to the horison, this could give some nice opportunities.... depending on the weather of course.

Cool photo. Could you crop it to make it bigger and still keep decent resolution? "Speed" here on this board has posted some nice astro photography, if you are interested.

yeah i agree with the idea of the crop, and put the moon off centre, to the top right of the crop. That way your eye will lead into the centre to the blackness.

    maybe?
