    The Moon

The moon is a little bright, and you can't see any detail on it, but I liked the effect it has on the clouds.

Shots of a full moon often require 1/125 of a second or two stops under the auto exposure setting.

I see someone has a copy of Hedgecoe's basic photography book and is rushing to quote from it - trying to impress?

Yes, the effects in the sky are interesting but this other poster might have been trying to say (in a rather rude manner) that a proper exposure of the moon would have made the overall image better and a re-shoot may be the way to go.

    Re: The Moon

I wasn't going for an exposure of the moon, I was trying to light up the sky, so you could see the clouds and everything. Sure 1/125 will let you see all the detail of the moon but it will also make the sky black I took pictures like that also.
