I like a lot of what I see here, but I wish I could see a bit more, his foot is cut off and the writing at the top is cut off, maybe better framed in portrait.

    Re: Monk

    Hi EOS 3
Thanks for the response. Yeah I agree that the composition could have been a little better. I was setup and just taking random photos...looking through my viewfinder when out of the blue this Monk walks through the door and up the path..... I wasn't expecting it at all as I had been there for over an hour with no "monk activity" at all until this point..and non after
    Thanks again

    Re: Monk

I like this image but the Monk to me looks almost as if he were placed in the picture. I know this isn't so, but it has a strange three D look to it. Did you do any PS work on this? I really like the picture. Thanks for posting it.

    Re: Monk

    Hi Greg
I know exactly what you mean about the monk. I thought the same when I first got home and looked at it on the computer. Yeah I have used CS2 on it but only to adjust the levels. I think that the path infront of the monk looks quite false, as though it was put there or something but nope... (I wish I had the photoshop skills to do that!!). Thanks for the comment

I don't think that I would do anything to the photo, It is quite nice as is. It must be a DOF issue. I hope you post more photos...
