Nice shot. I like the shallow depth of field. The only thing that bothers me is the text being too near the center of the image. I'm not sure which way I'd move it, but I would try putting it lower first.

Ok, but if you're going to offset the composition like that I think you should go even farther. I would crop off about 15% of the pic at the top. That would cut the two upper coins in about half. Is the surface supposed to symbolize something?

thanks for all the feedback! No nothing is really being symbolised here, though of course, if it would make the photo better.... I thought that having it the coin that way round would show the more interesting side of the coin, most coins have the queens head on it and the "tails" side is quite often different, though in my experience quite alot of them are the one I used!
