    wow!
I love the texture of the background and the yuxtaposition of the yellow ant the model's tone skin.
I Think it catches your eye!

I think you have me used to better photos ...

This low point of view may not be the most flattering for her

Light is a bit hard and the shade under her chin is not nice

Composition ... both arms and hands are included , the level of her head is right on the center, you cut her at a unusual place

Her skin on her right hand may be a bit hot ? or maybe it is this monitor at work

    GB,

This shot leaves me trying to accept it for what it is...., strange colors, odd angle, expression on the models face (love the title of the shot, however!). Not sure if the fence at the top adds to or detracts from the shot. I need to think about this one. And perhaps that is a compliment all by itself; it creates emotion.

    Re: Model on Metal

    Thanks!

This shot isn't the run-of-the-mill model image. It was intended to be something a little more grunge, emotional, and/or expressive. Given that, I didn't expect there to be consensus either way. I added the effect to give it a little more ommpf as it was overcast that morning (which is much better than intense light I will say), and it came out a little flat.

This angle is also admittedly difficult to make flattering, but I am quite pleased that it came out halfway decent.

Thanks James. It was definitely edited to invoke that response.

Armando, thanks, I really played around with the crop before deciding on this. No crop was ideal in my expts, but leaving it full frame simply wasn't an option, for her lower body in relation to her upper body and fence didn't look right foreshortened. The hands look ok on this monitor, but the effect sort of knocks out the detail and that can make it look washed out.

Thanks too CF. It has you thinking eh? This was shot downtown on I think 3rd street, in a slightly dicey neighborhood, and there was barbed wire at the top that I decided to crop out to make the composition work better. Funny, but I don't see her expression being unusual.. Maybe cause I know her looks are different from the average model. You may see more of her posted here soon.

I like it. It has a gritty atmosphere. I would cut off the top of the image to lose the fence though.

Just an honest opinion, the edge is a bit sharp, and the positioning of your models face angle just kinda not appealing. Her jaw line shows very hard. Also the background is a bit brighter than subject, I think if you make it a bit darker the subject would stand out.
