I'd call it decoration.
What art is frequently leads to lengthy and sometimes heated debate so this thread may get interesting.

Of the two the second image has the most potential but the buildings in the background on the right hand side make the subject a little less defined. If it is art, decoration or mindless vandalism, both images are slightly off balance, will be interesting to see if this thread generates much varied discussion.

Well, in Canada, we tend to call it vandalism or graffitti.

i think the second one would look better with a tighter crop, and isnt it art? i dunno honestly but its the same how people said jean michel basquiat wasnt an artist
