    Mlb

Posted these on the "Sports" board, too...

I saw the Los Angeles Dodgers in a spring training game recently. The first one is Joe Beimel, who is trying to make the team. I wasn't able to track down a name for player #2. The last one is Nomar Garciapara, aka "Mr. Mia Hamm." All shots with a Nikon D50 and SIgma 50-500mm lens. Your thoughts and comments appreciated.

The first one is my fave...I like the way the players are sort of lined up and then you have Joe Beimel in focus (who btw, really reminds me of Richie Cunningham...LOL). I like his position and expression too.
I like the other two as well, but the first one stands out to me.

Excellent shots, lava. Really love them all. (This from a Yankee fan) They are very crisp with good dof. Even the one of Biemel, the other players behind are oof just enough so that you can still focus on him.

.. reallly nice shots. If the backgrounds were a little better they would even jump another level. Goes to show that angles and equipment play a big part of sports shots.

    #1 is really really nice.
