Ah yes, now why can't we get a good snowfall here in Central Indiana....I miss Duluth in the winter I used to sled from Skyline Parkway all the way to lake Supiors banks.

Elena - Maybe more snow but I don't think you can make that happen. Maybe it's because I dont see snow very often, but I almost wish that it wasn't a pic of a bridge over water but instead somewhere out in the country where it's all white. Maybe that will come in Jan when it gets even colder ... brrrrr!

Working with what you have here, I think it is nice but needs a little adj. A trick with film is to add 1/3 exp to an overcast day like this, or maybe even 2/3 exp. But you can also dig. spruse it up! I used Corel PhotoPaint to increase the contrast a bit and add some more lightness. Plus, I subtracted some of the blue to warm it up a little (hope you don't mind).

Thank you, I think it is better. At least it looks better. However, the blue color was real. The picture was taken about 5pm + overcast sky + snow + my "mood in blue".

I had been going to say that I liked it because it reminded of those days when the sun was low, almost gone, and the world looked blue in shadow. Even the mist was blue. And the air would be still and felt almost warm. I really love this shot Elena.

Beautiful scene and very well seen and taken ... the removal of the blue cast is a welcome imo ...

All of a sudden living in hurrican alley is looking pretty good. You guys can keep all of the cold wet stuff.

    Great shot by the way.

Gb's recommendation/reshot is great IMO. Definately would have been the same thing I would recommend.

    Well done,

    Jared
