I do not have any experience in this type of shot but to me the eye looks a little strange being all the way in the corner like it is, Jeff

I like her face and her skin and tone is very nice. My only real concerns with this is the eyes, moreso the closest one. Seems as if it were "opened" somewhat in processing? The whites of the eyes seem unaturally illuminated somehow. A minor nit would be remove the sparkle from the eye shadow on the last eyelash.
I think you came away with a fine shot here, Jim.

Not sure what you're seeing with the eye, not much PP done beyond saturation of the iris, desaturation of the capillaries. Here it is full size straight out of ACR with no corrections.
The colored gel on the hair looks overdone, and her hair seems to be trying to do two different things as well. The angle of the face and the composition makes this image look and feel strange. I also really don't like what she did with those eye lashes, I'd like to see her with a little more direct look. Was this the best of the shoot?

Nope, not the best of the shoot, just one I was on the fence about, so it wound up here in the critique forum :wink5:
Still processing, but here's a couple I feel better about than the first posted:
Interesting shots, no complaints when it comes to lighting, composition or what not.
I find her eyes enticing overall - I think you also notice something about them, as you've emphasized them and tried a crop. She's pretty, but I find her looking a little upset or unapproachable in her lips and jaw area, seems a little tense? (hard to say) But these are more model critique points than the photographer's. Maybe you tried the pink background to relax things a little? Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have worked here (try alcohol (!)).
The bottom shot I don't think works too well, as her eyes are a little too open, seemingly unnaturally. But I do love her eyes in the bottom shot on the last post - here's a crop to just show them. Try it larger res.

Yep, see what you mean. I think what it is then is how wide open and the amount of white in the eyes visible....
the others are certainly much better.
