really miss seeing your images and post processing

    nice place

    great warm tones

    nicely sharp all over

the dark blotches on smooth surfaces are the only thing I do not quite like, floor and large beams

Yeah, the heavy exposure texturing might be a mistake from a purely photographic point of view.

very strong colours. i wish they were less strong. the lobby though looks real nice and your exposures seem to be right on. it's just the saturation levels that are throwing me off.

I'd like to see it without the postprocessing

Certainly an impressive lobby, the first shot is very warm and I like the HDR effect. Both images are nice to me in different ways, my only nit pick is I look for level and the shots tends to flow left to right so I probably would have shifted it so the floor line was level as measured by the back part of the shot where the pillar is (if you know what I mean).

The lobby, though impressive in some ways, is not terribly photogenic in my opinion so I don't feel your treatment does anything to change that.
Sorry daq7 but I am not getting this one.

I think it could be wider from top to bottom. It looks as though the focus could be slightly off or maybe camera shake. There really is nothing there to hold ones interest. I think another element or something. I think for the processing somewhere in between the two would work. I agree you can really process a picture.
