The San Diego County Mazda Miata Club annual January 1 fun ride through the mountains of San Diego County. As you can see, it was Top Down day. This shot was taken at approximately 4,000 feet heading to 6,500. We eventually hit the snow country but it was all cleared to the side of the road thus presenting no issues for the cruise.

I don't think this is a recent photo CF Too cold lately for that, esp at a mile high. Clean shot, anyway. I guess you own a Miata?

CF my only suggestion would have been to aim slightly more to the right putting the blue car more into the right third of the frame, but just a nit pic. Nice work.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I do own a Miata; a 1992 jewel. Red. GB, this shot was taken about noon on January 1, 2009, three days ago, between Ramona and Julian on the Old Julian Highway. Believe it or not, it was 71 in Julian on New Year's Day. I ate lunch at the Julian Cafe, sitting on the patio within eye shot of an outdoor thermometer. I should have taken a picture of that! It was a gorgeous day and, of course, overrun with tourists.
