    Re: For Memorial Day

PC - The top one isn't really special, but the bottom one seems pretty nicely composed. I am not sure about the lighting though - the gravestone's bottom is way too bright and washed out. The flag is OK but I wish it was peaking above the mountain. I do wish there was some human element in # 2.... seems a little too artificial somehow.

    Re: For Memorial Day

    gb,

Thanks for commenting. I'll go back and look at the second one to see what I can do on the bottom of the stone. I'm also going to try a narrower crop on the flag. I like the lighting on the main flag and the smaller flags at the bottom, but I don't think the people on the side add too much.

    Thanks again,

prevailing.......on the bottom shot you might want to get rid of that greenery at the top left. It really doesn't add anything to the shot. Nice comp.

I updated the lone flag shot in the galleries with the narrower crop, so the image above should automatically reflect the new crop. If it doesn't then refresh your browser.
