    Maybe a Prayer

I am beginning to really like this street photography stuff. It can be addictive.

    Nicely composed and even level.
Looks a bit soft...maybe some sharpening.

Thanks Frog, I guess I forgot to sharpen it after the resize. Thanks Brent, not sure what you mean by crush? Do you mean to darken the blacks more?

    Re: Maybe a Prayer

I think I'd prefer a little more space above the top of that window shade or whatever it is. Good expression on the woman's face, but she's probably too small in the frame. Actually, the shot is mostly about her, but negative space dominates. I think I'd like the shot 1/2 or 1/3 f stop darker also.

I can see how this would be addictive btw.

    Re: Maybe a Prayer

I like the picture and the expression is excellent - good capture, however it needs a boost in contrast to make it pop and would should be a large print to view it in reallity.

I don't think screens make a good job of this type of image.

Agree with what others are saying, definitely try raising the black point and even the midpoint a bit. Maybe some slight sharpening, a graduated filter would also apply a cool vignetting effect which would work well in this shot. Great composition and angle, excellent placement of all objects in the scene, very cool!

    Re: Maybe a Prayer

Thanks all, I have since added some contrast and brought out the blacks before uploading to my web site. The vignetting is a good idea. I might can add it in Lightroom, there is a tool for it there.
