    Question Matress Man- Holga....

So I have been wanting to make a series of these inflatable charactures.
I have been rather fortunate this summer to have been able to catch seven in my area.
This one I saw recently at an opening of a new store.
I think it is one of my funnier ones.
    What are your thoughts?

A holga masterpiece. I wish you could get rid of the aberrant light on the left though, even though it would not be pure.

Your image reminds me of looking through one of those cardboard periscopes.

Neat stuff! I first thought that the significant light leak in the lower left side was too much but it almost looks like some kind of fog or smoke. In the end, it adds to the picture as I see it.

Really nice. It almost looks like you shot this thru the mirror of your car or something.

Nope, just my Holga and slide film Fujichrome Provia 100.

Could it be Sponge Bob's cool Uncle Boxy?

This is a very entertaining Holga-graph. You have good color and line composition, a great central image and the whole vibe that goes with the toy/Holga camera 'thing'. Flare and the light leaks even fit perfectly!

I think this is my favorite of your inflatable series. I get a drunk&angry vibe from him, probably because of the way he's leaning over with a clinched fist. Quite humurous.

I'm surprised to hear you used slide film in a Holga, but it worked very well.

Not a stupid question. It's a toy plastic camera that uses 120 film.

Check out this thread: Holga!?! What's that?

    No Worries Man..
A Holga is a camera, look at my website to see what one looks like.
But to let you know a little more about them, they are considered a "toy camera", you'll see what I mean when you look at my site.
They are a very basic camera and are made mostly of plastic including the lens elements.

That's a neat concept. Do you shoot e-6 and scan your slides???

    To answer your questions:
Not normally, but I have been. As you can imagine, it's a little more challenging to shoot slide film with a Holga, they only have one shutter speed and two f/stops. Of about 1/100th of a second and about f/8 and f/11.
So negative film is best, but you do it with slide film!
