    Marlo ll

Another portrait of Marlo. I don't quite have the "hang-ups" with this one as I had with the other, and am feeling this came out pretty much as i hoped. i was hoping to have another solid portrait of her with the other look/style and dark background but i don't think i was successful in that.
so, what thinks ye about this

    Thanks

Was just about to post in the other one and how I wasn't sure about the BG. I think the dark BG changes the entire light in the photo and was going to say that i enjoyed your more recent lighter BG's and Voila!! it popped up. lol

This one for me is definitely much better than the other one. From the expression to what she's wearing, pose and everything else. It looks pretty much right on.

The only thing that pulls my eyes a bit, and I know it's probably nothing but my brain over reacting as usual is the concave area above her ear. Should be more convex. the good thing is there's enough hair above the ear to cut in a little bit to create the more convex look. Other than that looks bang on!

Edit: Also that one beauty mark on her right breast. The other ones are fine, but that one is in a such prominent spot, I think i would retouch it out.

Yep, i agree about this over the other.
funny you mentioned the concave shape in the hair just above the ear. i had noticed it and decided to leave it as i thought it gave a little bit of a hard edge, almost masculine like and i initially felt it might have been interesting but looking at it over again, and your bringing it up i decided to just pull it out and round it. Very easily done
Also agree about that one beauty mark being very prominent, and so removed it.

thanks for the thoughts and suggestions

A much better image than the other. Even though it was technically fine (as is always the case), the previous one wasn't working for me.

Liban covered just about everything that I would've thought of (and probably more) for this one. There are things I might do if this were my image (choices based on personal taste), but nothing make or break.

A fantastic image. I'd like to see what you could do with Dita Von Teese.

Liban - the ear issue... how did you even see that?!

Thanks Seth, actually not liking the other very much either.

The hair above the ear issue that Liban refers to is edited. the original image he saw has since been replaced with this edit. It was the back of her head that the hair sorta curved in a bit as opposed to the round shape it has now.

Yeah, Dita, would love the op but i think would have a hard time getting to her...

    Thanks for the time

Love this one Gary  I actually mimicked this lighting setup for another photographer I was helping out the other night, he liked it much better than his original plan.
