    Nice reflection and colors here, but I'm not feeling any strong subject matter. For me, personally, and after looking at some of your other pictures, this one just doesn't seem to have the subject matter your others had. It's still a nice shot, yet I'm more fond of your other ones.

    That's just me though,

    I like the contrast of bright colors with a dark background, however I too am not drawn to any part of the photo. I think possibly the right third of the shot doesn't add to it. A closer view of the boats, or the colorful canoe on the grass may have worked better. I do love lake pics though, so I hope you have many more to show.

    I see your points now. I don't see anything to focus on either in this shot.

    I don't know exactly where all my Island shots are when I find them I'll post some in this thread.
