    That is indeed a nice macro, good composition too.

    I'd like to see it a little brighter with the same saturation (I'm not sure that would be an improvement but I'd give it a shot).
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I was going to say I love the composition but maybe a touch brighter but MB beat me too it.

    Great detail, my eye is however drawn to the dark spot (blemish) on the leaf and away from the spine.

    Thanks all for the input. Here's a re-post, brightened a couple of stops, and with the blemish cloned out. Better? I tend toward darker images. I do prefer the spot gone though for sure.

    Great composition like the reworked shot the best the lighting of the pict to me brings out even more details. What lens were you using.

    Ray,

    Used THE Tamron 90mm Macro lens. I love that lens, in fact I have two; one for film (Pentax mount) and one for Digital (Nikon mount). This was with the Nikon D80.
