    Mans Best Friends

For a while I worked at our local shelter taking pictures of available animals. I used this as practice, as well as hoping to get them better pictures to help find them homes....What do you think??

This is China, happily placed in a new home.........

This was Rascal, sadly he was euthanized. He was a good boy........

Hey Chow...I like these...most particularly the first one. The blue eyes and pinky ears stand out really nicely against the rest of the pup and the snow.

You made me sad about Rascal though.

Sorry, it is a sad truth about shelters. I have rescued MANY animals from shelters. He was a good dog, he just ran out of time.
China was a great subject to shoot, she would run and run and run and then come sliding to a stop and just look at you! lol

These are beautiful pictures and I'm sure you've helped get them homes with pictures like these. Very sad about Rascal. I love German Sheps and had I seen this I would have been there. As it is, it brought me to tears to see such a beautiful animal get put down.
