    Re: Manley

to be completely honest, those yellow cups really bother me. Other than that I would crop a little off of the bottom just above the rim. Her socks are a little distracting to me. But what do I know??

Rick, The composition is such that it wasn't corrected in your viewfinder. A bit of her and a bit of the car does not help matters. You just needed to stand back more or zoom out etc.The people in the background make it a bit busy and with a different setting you could have blurred them out a bit.

Rick, candidly you need to decide if you want to take a photo of the girl or the engine, else get a wider lens. Joking aside, I'd have had her sit on the side board (back to the wheel) looking over her shoulder so you could get both in one. And yep lose the yellow cups. Nice shot in any case, though I'd crop out the signs on the top. S.
    Shootme...

    Re: Manley

I think this particular shot would have benefited greatly from a landscape orientation vs the portrait you chose. My very first thought was the same as the comment shootme made - apparently you couldn't decide between the girl and the car so you chopped both (both things CAN be in the photo, but choose one as the subject and use the other as the supporting element). Also curious why you chose to shoot at f/10 rather than obscure the background clutter. I don't think I'd have gone higher than f/6.7 even if I was worried about DoF being too shallow.
