    Mangaweka

Out and about on a chilly winters day, light not that good, but you have to make do at times.
The mix of primary colours and earth tones attracted me to this one

In this case I think I would rather see more of the street than the sky, maybe because of the power lines. Also love the car, maybe make that more of the subject?

I see what you liked about this setting. bright colours, very warhol. among natural settings. i agree with arne about the electric cables, i think more street would've been better also. i like the photo overall, my only quip is that the BG is also lush green so it stands out as much as the buildings/signs. how to potentiallly separate the two? i really don't know, maybe a selective colour or dialing down on the saturation for the BG?

The beat up car really go with the old style buildings

I do not think the light is bad , why do you think so ?

I think the hills in the back also go along well with the small town feeling

the lines should be easy to clone

There is much I like about this image and I can see why it caught your attention. The colors are really good. I do think that there are almost 2 photos in here though ...and the one that I am attracted to more is the combination of the red car and the store....did you happen to take a pic head on with the car to the left ...I would be interested to see what they may have looked like ...nice shot.

Thanks all for taking the time to help me out here. The power lines are no prob to remove, I thought about it but for some reason I don't understand now I left them there. Changing the crop for more road, less sky is doable . Colour wise I tone mapped a layer then overlayed the original at 50% opacity as the original was a bit under exposed. Due to a bit of brain fade on my part I didn't take any straight on .
